This session will address the key topic where more powerful AI becomes at generating sophisticated outputs, why it is more essential for people to possess the foundational knowledge required to evaluate, question, and take responsibility for them.

Bio

Suresh Vijayaraghavan is the Chief Technology Officer at THG Publishing Pvt Ltd, publishers of The Hindu, where he leads technology strategy for one of India's most respected media organizations. With over 35 years of global experience, Suresh has built a career spanning strategic planning, IT project management, systems design and implementation, infrastructure management, and IT governance across cross-cultural, global environments

He holds an engineering degree in Electronics & Communication and an MBA in IT Management from the University of Leicester, UK. Suresh is recognized for his ability to align enterprise architecture, business process management, and technology strategy with organizational goals, and has deep expertise guiding build-versus-buy decisions for major enterprise systems, including successful implementations of SAP and EPICOR ERP platforms.

His contributions to technology leadership have been recognized with the Indian Achievers' Award for CTO of the Year (2023–24) and consecutive placements on the CIO Powerlist in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Colleagues describe him as a hands-on, business-focused leader who takes ownership of outcomes and mentors teams toward greater IT maturity.
